The 1470th day of Ukraine’s heroic resistance to Russia’s full-scale military invasion has concluded.
**Key Updates and Losses –** The Ministry of Transport of Russia confirmed an attack on the Arctic Metagaz – a liquefied natural gas carrier under the Russian flag. The attack was allegedly carried out from the Libyan coast using unmanned boats by Ukrainian forces. – Chairman of the Financial Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, Danylo Hetmantsev, urged fuel market representatives to ‘heed the situation’ amid rising prices. Serhiy Kuyn, director of the ‘A-95’ consulting group, believes the price increase stems from panic triggered by fighting in the Middle East. – In a hospital, 31-year-old National Guard soldier, Yosyp Pavlynskyy, who sustained severe injuries during the Львоiv terror attack on February 22nd, passed away. Doctors fought for his life for 11 days, but he could not be saved. He is survived by his wife and three-year-old daughter.
Military Volodymyr Kolyadu, who was returned to Ukraine during the latest prisoner exchange in early February, was sentenced for desertion in 2022. He left his service post in the Donetsk region and appeared in Russian propaganda videos. – President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that partners are seeking assistance to stabilize the situation amidst fighting in the Middle East. Ukraine is already coordinating with partners to dispatch Ukrainian experts to the affected areas.
**Frontline Situation –** Hromadske INFORMATION reports 106 combat clashes occurred since the beginning of the day. The Defence Forces continue to halt the enemy, destroying personnel and depleting their combat potential, conducting systematic fire strikes. The enemy launched one rocket attack with three missiles and 52 aerial bombs – dropping 122 guided aerial bombs. They also used 6031 drone-kamikaze and carried out 2551 shelling of populated areas and our troops’ positions.
On the North-Slobzhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy conducted 91 shelling of our troops’ positions and populated areas, one with HIMARS. Four aerial strikes with 11 КАБ were carried out. Two combat clashes took place. On the South-Slobzhansky direction, the enemy once attacked our units’ positions near the settlement of Grafskoe. Storming operations are not being recorded. On the Kupiansk direction, the enemy three times attacked positions of our units in the areas of Piskyane, Kurylivka and Krivshchivka. On the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled three attacks by the occupants in the areas of Salkovy Yar, Druzhkovka and Zoryane. On the Slovyansk direction, the enemy five times tried to advance in the direction of Drobnivka, Rai-Oleksandrivka and Riznivka. On the Kramatorsk direction, the aggressor three times attacked in the areas of Orikhov-Vasilivka, Bondarne and Mykolaivka. One attack is ongoing. On the Kostyantiniv direction, the occupiers today 14 times attacked the positions of our defenders near the settlements of Kostyantinivka, Pleschievka, Shcherbinivka, Ilyshivka, Rusin Yar and Sofia. Three storming operations by the enemy are ongoing. On the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy launched 15 attacks. The enemy was trying to advance in the areas of Nykanorovka, Rodynske, Hryshyne, Udačne, Muravka, Molodeche and towards the Black Sea. Three attempts by the enemy to improve their position are still ongoing. According to preliminary calculations, today 49 enemy soldiers were liquidated and 14 were wounded; four civilian vehicles and one artillery system were destroyed, and seven of the enemy’s shelters were damaged. 91 different types of UAVs were destroyed or suppressed.
On the Olexandrivka direction, the enemy six times tried to improve their situation, attacking in the areas of Ivanovka, Andriivka-Klevtsove, NovoMykhailivka and towards Zelenyi Hai, Krasnohirske and Zlagoda. On the Huliyipil direction, 14 enemy attacks occurred: in the area of Hulipole, Dobropillya, Zalesne and Myrne. Two attacks are ongoing. On the Orikhiv direction, the enemy did not conduct any attacks. On the Dniprovsk direction, the enemy attacked in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge and Bilohryadskyi Island. On other directions, there are no significant changes in the situation.
